In 2017 I was asked to do a portrait of the Chinese Ambassador in Vienna. I took the challenge even though I only had two days to paint it. At a public event I presented and handed the portrait over to him. The next day I was invited to the Chinese Embassy.

From time to time I do portraits for family members or friends. This one I painted on a commission base. I was given fotografies which I rearranged for a composition from the 1920ies.
